Tex-Mex Sausage Dog

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of White Cheddar Caramelized Onion and Red Pepper Smoke sausage; I use the Private Selection brand but can also be substituted with your favorite kind of sausage as well.

  • 1 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheese

  • 1 1/4 Sour Cream

  • 1 can of Black Beans Beans

  • 2 Tablespoons Paprika

  • 1 Tablespoon Southwestern Chipotle Seasoning & 1 Tablespoon Jalapeno Seasoning (can be replaced with 2 Tablespoons of taco seasoning)

  • 1 can of Corn

  • 1 Large Tomato

  • 1 Avocado

  • 3 Tablespoons of Cilantro Lime Avocado Oil Dressing (I use the Primal Kitchen Brand)

  • 1 package of Brioche Hot Dog Rolls

  • 1 Red Bell Pepper

  • 1 Green Bell Pepper

  • 1 white or red Onion

How to Make:

  1. Prepare a side sauce with 1 1/4 cup of sour cream and 2 Tablespoons of Paprika

  2. Pre-Heat Air Fryer to 400 degrees

  3. Cut up vegetables. Make sure the tomato and avocado are diced into small pieces.

  4. When Air Fryer is done preheating place sausage in for approximately 10 minutes and keep flipping until fully cooked.

  5. In one pan add your can of black beans, corn, and 1 1/2 Cups of shredded cheese with 3 Tablespoons of Cilantro Lime Avocado Oil on Medium Heat until hot and the cheese is melted

  6. At the same saute your onions and bell peppers on Medium to high heat in a separate pan with 1 Tablespoon of your Southwestern Chipotle Seasoning and 1 Tablespoon of Jalapeno seasoning (can be substituted with 2 Tablespoons of Taco Seasoning)

  7. Toast Buns and begin to plate.

  8. First layer on buns is your corn and black bean medley

  9. Then you add your sausage, peppers and onions.

  10. Next layer add your freshly diced tomatoes and avocado.

  11. Finally you will put lightly on top your sour and paprika sauce.
