Garlic Buttered Brown Sugar Pork Chops

  • 4 thick pork chops, about 1 inch thick (approx. 3-4lbs.)

  • 1 stick of garlic and herb Kerrygold butter or you can substitute with 3 tablespoons minced Garlic and 4 tablespoons of butter

  • 2 tablespoons of avocado oil

  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Fresh Parsley

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.

  3. Heat avocado oil in a large pan on medium high heat sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside

  4. In the same pan reduce heat to low and add butter, garlic, brown sugar, and whisk until combined, simmer 2-3 minutes.

  5. Place pork chops on a baking sheet and then coat with garlic buttered brown sugar sauce generously on each pork chop dispersing evenly.

  6. Sprinkle a small amount of red pepper flakes on top after that.

  7. Place baking sheet with pork chops in oven for 8-10 minutes or until internal temperature of meat reaches 145F

  8. Remove pork chops and let rest 5 minutes.

  9. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley! Side dishes I served with this meal are Super Delicious Southern Style Collard Greens and my Cajun Bacon Black Eyed Peas!

  10. ENJOY!
