Ingredients for Pork Chops:
4-5 Thick Bone In Pork Chops
1 tsp avocado oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Hymilylan salt
1 tsp pepper
Ingredients for Bourbon Mushrooms:
1/4 cup of kerrygold butter
1/4 cup avocado oil
2 pounds of fresh or canned mushrooms, sliced
1/2 tsp hymilylan salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup bourbon
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp dried parsley
2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 Cup of Heavy Cream
Preheat your air fryer to 380ºF.
Brush both sides of pork chop with a little avocado oil.
Mix the pork chop seasonings together in a bowl and apply to both sides of the pork chop or you can sprinkle each seasoning listed in the pork chop ingredients to your desired amount on each side.
Place pork chop in your air fryer and cook for approximately 12 minutes until it reaches a minimum temp of 145°F time will vary depending on how thick of pork chop and air fryer model you have. You may also flip your pork chops half way through.
While pork chops are in the air fryer you can start on your bourbon mushrooms by getting a medium to large skillet.
Melt the butter and avocado oil over medium heat.
Add mushrooms, salt, pepper. bourbon and heavy cream cook mushrooms until soft and then reduce heat to low and add garlic, parsley and thyme for 2-3 more minutes. NOTE: If Bourbon taste is way too strong bring to a boil then reduce heat to let it simmer. Sometimes when cooking with liquor that helps.
Once your pork chops are done you can now plate and place your mushrooms and remaining juices on top of each pork chop.
